Recorded November 15, 2004 at "The House Of Love" (aka Carltone Studio) Produced by Stu Loseby, Miles Black, & Tony Chamberlist
"With Love & Respect" is a dedication to individuals who have influenced Stu personally and musically, with particular attention to his late wife (and jazz singer) Sheila Davis Loseby, his great friend, pianist Linton Garner, and his just lost Uncle Jack Tait. The compositions pay homage to these, and others, including Gene Ammons, Stan Getz, Art Blakey, Dexter Gordon, and John Coltrane. The recording is warm and friendly, with an intentional bias towards the great Van Gelder Blue Note recordings of the 50's and early 60's.
